Alexander Williamson (1761-1828) and Mary (1763-1829) are the common ancestors
(through divergent lines) of both Georgiana & Harvey. They are the earliest Williamsons
we have found so far. They lived in Hebron, NY as early as 1790, and Alexander
was naturalized in 1809. They had four sons - James, Richard, John and William (see below)
and a daughter, Elizabeth (1789-1815), who is buried near them.

Alexander Williamson (1820-1899) was Harvey's uncle, the brother of his father James
(1825-1889), married to Catharine McEachron (1825-1886). Harvey was close to this family
and mentions "Uncle Alex" and "Aunt Kate" often in his Journals .
Their funerals are noted in the 1886 and 1899 journals.

Three of their children who died young are buried nearby.

John C. Williamson (1824-1895) was Harvey's uncle, the brother of his father James
(1825-1889), married to Lucy Jane Chamberlin (1826-1903). In his 1889 Journal,
Harvey mentions that Uncle John C. & Aunt Lucy Jane (and several other uncles)
helped him prepare for the funeral of his father, James.

One child, Lewis A., who died as an infant in 1867, is buried with them. See the
Georgiana's Family page for son "Johnnie" and the New Hebron Cemetery
for son Everett. Another son, Frederick (b. 1862) is buried elsewhere.
