Benjamin Brewster
Benjamin Brewster was born in Plymouth, MA, Oct 17, 1633. He married on Feb 28, 1660 Ann Addis Darte, the daughter of William Addis and Millicent Wood and the widow of Ambrose Darte. She was baptized on Mar 17, 1628 at Frampton on Severne, Gloucestershire, England, and died May 9, 1709, at Norwich, CT. He was a deputy to the General Court in 1668,89,90,93,97. He was a lieutenant in the militia at New London in 1673 and captain at Norwich in 1693. He lived on the family homestead at Brewster's Neck. He died Sept 14, 1710, at Norwich and was buried at Brewster's Plain in New London, CT.

52. Jonathan BREWSTER, GG Grandson, M. Born in Nov 1664.1 At the age of 40, Jonathan died on 20 Nov 1704.1
1The inscription on his gravestone in the Brewster Cemetery at Brewster's Neck reads: "Hear liest the body of Mr Jonathan Brewster who Dyed Nov the 20th 1704 Aged 40."
Jonathan settled upon the homestead of his father, who, in 1699, deeded to him 810 acres with 'my dwelling house and other buildings,' as his portion of the father's estate. This was done with the understanding that Benjamin and his wife should be cared for in their old age. They both, however, survived their son."--N. E. Reg., liii. 286.
On 18 Dec 1690 when Jonathan was 26, he married Judith STEVENS, F, daughter of James STEVENS, M & Sarah SMITH, F.1 Judith was baptized in Norwich, Connecticut on 22 Dec 1670.1

53. Daniel BREWSTER, GG Grandson, M. Born on 1 Mar 1666.1 At the age of 69, Daniel died in Preston, Connecticut on 7 May 1735.1
1Daniel Brewster lived at Preston. He was justice of the peace for New London County, 1717, '20-23, '25-28; representative to the General Court of Connecticut, 1704-19, '21-23, '25-31; was appointed lieutenant of the Military Company of Preston, 1704, and captain, 1716, and was deacon of the First Church of Preston.
On 23 Dec 1686 when Daniel was 20, he first married Hannah GAGER, F, daughter of John GAGER, M & Elizabeth, F.1 Born in Feb 1666.1 At the age of 61, Hannah died on 25 Sep 1727.1

56. Benjamin BREWSTER, GG Grandson, M. Born on 25 Dec 1673.1 At the age of 81, Benjamin died in 1755.1
1Benjamin Brewster was an original proprietor of Lebanon, having removed there from Norwich, Conn., after the birth of his first child. He was appointed quartermaster of the troop in New London County, May 15, 1718, by Gurdon Saltonstall, Governor of Connecticut. Benjamin's descendant, Mrs. Mary (Porter) Spaford of Turnerville, Conn., owns the original commission, the accompanying illustration being a copy.
On 17 Dec 1696 when Benjamin was 22, he first married Mary SMITH, F.1 Born in 1673.1 At the age of 74, Mary died in Lebanon, Connecticut on 27 Mar 1747.1
