Note for:   Esther Harsha,   BEF. 1758 -          Index
Individual note:    Gabrielle,
I have just started an extensive search on the McEchrons of Queensbury. I did find some info on Peter McEachron and his wife Esther Harsha. He was born in Argyle NY in 1767 and she was born in Salem NY in 1778. His mother and father were John McEachron born 1740 in the Kakiate Patent in Orange county NY. His mother was Margaret Reid. It is said that his father John McEachron changed his name to McCarter and moved to New York City. (reason unknown} I have some further info if you are interested.
